For those of you who may be interested, Piano at Peabody will be held at Peabody Conservatory (John Hopkins Univ.) in Baltimore, MD. from July 12th until the 17th. I'm enclosing two links, one that tells about the program and instructors, and one that is used to register. It's a great program for pianists of all levels, and a great way to immerse yourself in music for six days! Just think .... 24 practice rooms available 24 hours a day (most with Steinways)!!! Can you find Judy and myself in this picture? Utako is not only an outstanding pianist, but she is a superb hostess as well. This home musicale that she and Steven hosted was complimented by delicious food, melodic music, and the kind of comradery that we all have come to enjoy at these gatherings! Abbie Hattauer and Julie Woodall both received well deserved acknowledgements and gifts of appreciation for the tremendous amount of time and work that they give to our impressive organization. What a way to start off December! Happy Holidays to all of my GMG friends!!!

Each year, Peabody Conservatory (John Hopkins University) hosts a fantastic music camp for adults. Judy Manganiello and myself attended and we really enjoyed the experience. Piano At Peabody was an intensive week of Master classes, lectures, jazz improvisation, theory refreshers, and recitals. There was a recital each night, featuring each instructor and then two nights of recitals featuring all of the students. Each day was filled with lectures, theory refreshers, master classes, and jazz workshops. Twenty-four practice rooms were available to participants day and night. This was my sixth year, and I can’t wait until next year!
