Ten Advisory Committee members support GMG and the board members by providing lectures, masterclasses, guest artists, and musical advice.

Our Mission

Increase classical music appreciation through listening and performing opportunities

GMG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which is active in classical music performances.  Our mission is to reach out to the music community, advocating for and offering new opportunities for people to enjoy classical music.  In specific furtherance thereof:

  • To promote the involvement of people of all ages who are interested in listening to and enjoying music

  • To improve the quality of performance, knowledge and appreciation of music

  • To encourage and help people who are interested in playing musical instruments

  • To collaborate with other music organizations

  • To provide pedagogical growth for music learners through a variety of programs and activities

  • To stimulate interest in music and enhance the image of classical music

  • To provide learning experiences and musical outlets for its members and potential members
