Wintertrios online

As many of you know, I have been a participant in Summertrios adult chamber music camps for almost 10 years. In 2020, we were not able to meet in person, but Summertrios organized a wonderful week-long virtual camp, with many of the talented coaches that I have come to know and admire over the years.

Now, Summertrios is offering a 3-day Wintertrios session from January 16-18 - also online. There will be a piano night hosted by the well-loved Jan Deats, with pianists choosing to play one of Chopin's 24 Preludes. Jan will present insights on Chopin's life and music and then give a "mini master class" to each one of the performers.

Another workshop for all instruments will feature 3 sessions of tango music with composer/arranger Pedro Giraudo. There will be opportunities to play with pre-recorded tracks and also live with Pedro during the sessions.

Honoring Beethoven's 250th anniversary, Valley of the Moon Music Festival's Co-founders Eric Zivian and Tanya Tomkins will offer sessions on Beethoven's Piano Sonatas and his Cello Sonatas.

There are more sessions - all individually priced or available as a package for $300. If you are interested, check it out at www.summertrios.org/wintertrios.
