Schubert Impromptu Op. 90 No.2 Masterclass by Sir Andras Schiff

I just found Sir András Schiff masterclass. This is one of the best masterclass of this impromptu. I've never been playing by thinking the first part of left hand melodies are Cello and Horn... He brings up different voices, lines of melodies (not every note equal), harmonies in each hand and key relationships which is characteristics of Schubert.

Since several fine pianists in GMG play this piece, I think you will enjoy this.

I think that in this piece, I tend to concentrate so much on the right hand (since it is playing so many rapid notes) and assume that the left hand will take care of itself since it appears to be so simple. Goes to show that you can't take any note or notes for granted!

Thank you so much! I was just playing both of those impromptus just yesterday. Can't wait to watch this!

By the way, this masterclass includes Op. 90 No.3, too.
