I just finished reading "Immune: A Journey into the Mysterious System That Keeps You Alive" by Philipp Dettmer. Having devoted most of my medical career to infectious disease pathology diagnosis and research, I found the writing brilliant, accurate, contemporary, and comprehensive, yet in language easily understood. It was a joy to read!!
