Retired after a public health career in medicine and information technology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Ed is an amateur pianist who also enjoys world travel, foreign language study, local politics, gardening, woodworking, and oil painting. He teaches classes in English as a second language as a volunteer for the International Rescue Committee and serves as a volunteer docent at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. (When not isolating from pandemics!)
