Thank you for this awesome master class post, Jimmy. This gives me hope & inspiration that maybe I could learn this piece. I tried once before, was told that "it wasn't for me", and then I abandoned it. But learning to play this Impromptu has been a life goal. This makes me think it is a possibility for me. Jimmy, Thanks for posting this. This program is one of my favorite series by Cyprien Katsaris. Japanese TV had a program of "All Chopin Masterclass" in 1993.
